The alias of one Ralph Cumbers, 'Blow Your Mind...' is the second EP of surreally strung-out sounds from RLF. As on his first release, RLF comes across like the man with two musical minds: one dealing in fantastically fucked-up funk, the other preferring to indulge in eerie ambience. Both A Thought Or Two and Bounce/Jack tread the former path while more interestingly still, The Surgeon And The Urchin and Ghost And Me are guaranteed to spook all your senses, like the Beta Band taking anti-career advice from 'Ambient Works'-era Aphex Twin. Bizarrely, bewitchingly, brilliant.
