D_RRadio | Dust And Guitars (Static Caravan)
Emerging from the North-East of England, D_RRadio are a mysterious quartet who stir up a magical potion from shimmering beats and gliding guitars. The band's debut three-track 7", the aptly titled 'Dust And Guitars' is achingly beautiful, with a lethargic melancholy akin to Boards Of Canada and My Bloody Valentine scoring angelic alien noises by the sea-shore. You'll never quite put your finger on what makes this so special, yet its one of the most intriguing things you can discover this year. Seek and you shall undoubtedly find.
